I find this interesting as my husband and I are set to move to Oaxaca city soon . He is from Mexico originally and we are movijg from the United States . We make , and restore and flip furniture here . Maybe it would be worth it to open a furniture store in Oaxaca ?
Oaxaca could certainly use a good mid- or upper-level furniture store, but I think you'd find that most of your business would come from making new furniture. At least in Oaxaca, there's not much of an antiques business, and you likely wouldn't find much restoration work. What's most common are individual carpenters doing custom work for private clients like hotels, stores, airbnbs, and wealthier Oaxacans and expats.
Thanks for the prompt response . Funny you mentioned that because we also design airbnbs , have worked on hotel projects and do renovations . I’d love to chat .

Figuring all out is like a Rubik's cube. But once the code is cracked, ojala (as the Maya say). Life is better.
